The text you paste never leaves your browser. What we do collect is listed below, in full.

The text you paste

When you paste an email, a message or a meeting invite, the rewriting happens in your own browser. It is not sent to us, and we have no copy of it. There is no account, and no database with your text in it. Close the tab and it is gone.

The word lists the tool uses are ordinary files downloaded from this site, the same way the page itself is. Nothing travels the other way.

What we count

We want to know whether the site is useful, so we collect usage data — never the text you paste.

• Google Analytics counts visits: which page was opened, which link was followed, roughly which country the visit came from. It sets a cookie.
• Microsoft Clarity records where people click and scroll, so we can see which parts of a page confuse people. Text is masked before anything is recorded — we can see that a button was pressed, not what you wrote.

Neither is used to build an advertising profile of you on this site.

Advertising

If pages on this site carry advertising, it is served by Google, which may use cookies to choose what to show. You can turn personalised advertising off at Google Ads settings.

Your choices

Blocking cookies, or using a tracker blocker, breaks nothing here: the tool works the same way, because it never needed a server for your text in the first place.

Children

This site is for people working on plainer English at work, and is not directed at children under 13.
